Product Info

Each of our candles is manufactured using only the highest quality natural soy wax, 100% European cotton wicks, and are highly scented to provide a rich full aroma that is sure to please even the most distinguished candle lover. Our candles come in only one color, and that is the natural color of the soy wax.

Our hand poured soy candles are designed to create a complete burn pool when properly burned, thus allowing for the highest scent throw while burning your candle.

Why Use Soy Candles?

Soy candles provide a much cleaner burn than petroleum based parafin wax because they are non-toxic, and are soot free. Therfore, soy candles are less likely to trigger allergy problems which many face while burning parafin candles in their home. A soy based candle will generally burn 30% - 50% longer than a parafin wax based candle. Soybeans are a renewables source, and offer economical support to farmers all across the USA.

Burning Tips

In order to enjoy your candle to its maximum potential, we offer the following guidelines:

Before every burn make sure you trim your candles wick to 1/4" with scissors or a wick trimmer before lighting. Each time you light your candle allow it to burn until the melted wax reaches the edge of the container. This not only helps avoid tunneling, but it will maximize the hot scent throw of the candle and will burn for longer periods of time. On your initial burn you should plan to burn your candle approximately 1 hour for each inch in diameter in order to create a complete burn pool.

About Us

The Cobblestone Candle Company, based out of Charleston, South Carolina, specializes in natural hand poured soy candles. We provide only the highest quality hand made soy candles, scented with the most true-to-life frangrance oils on the market.

Our name The Cobblestone Candle Company is derived from the old cobblestone streets that can still be found in historic downtown Charleston. These cobblestone streets were laid in the late 17th century during the colonial era, which takes us back to a time where candlelight lit the streets of Charleston.
